Showbag goes on tour
Sankt Augustin, 12.11.2010. CMLT Services' participation at the tekom trade fair at the Rhine-Main Halls in Wiesbaden, the leading technical communications industry fair, became a lively recurrent theme. The bright red showbag of CMLT services could be seen on the shoulders of numerous visitors to the trade fair within the shortest possible time.
During the three-day fair and conference both representatives from the classical industries of drive technology, commercial vehicles and packaging technology as well as such younger industries as wind power and sound technology found their way to the language service provider. At Stand 412 visitors were given the best possible information about the range of services offered by CMLT Language & Translation Services and its partners. Customers over many years used the tekom annual conference to get updated on technical communications and then to further improve the workflow during a personal discussion with service provider CMLT Services. At CMLT Services customer-oriented, multilingual technical communication also includes seamless effective work with its partners who joined the translation agency to present themselves together on an open stand. Whereas CAP Studio provided "salt for the technical documents soup" with its plug-in for Framemaker and Tracom was available as a contact for all technological, linguistic challenges, CMLT Services with its additional expertise from werkText, the specialist for technical editing,
completed the whole process chain.
Philipp Günter (CMLT), Simon Darchinger (TRACOM), Franziska Nieraad, Caroline Montexier (both CMLT), Stefan Gentz (TRACOM)
There were 178 exhibitors, 67 of whom were from other countries - and the 3,350 tekom conference and fair participants were just as multilingual. Mainly English was spoken at the CMLT stand. The top-quality, technical translators who presented their profile in person were also from international backgrounds. They were all sworn translators: the doctoral chemist from Russia, the mechanical engineering lecturer from the US, the German graduate physicist - CMLT Services only works with experts who understand the terminology being used.
